Ashford & Simpson ‘The Boss’ (Live)(Mark Seven Edit)

lesson-jpg

This, as the heading suggests, is a signature Mark Seven edit of one of the most fabulous gospel-delic bangers known to man: the Ashford & Simpson 1981 live version of the ‘The Boss’.

If I was still wobbling my merry way through the hedonistic haze of yesteryear (a-hem), you’d probably find me knee-deep in disco dirt, hugging the nearest breathing organism and grinning through tears of joy to this out-and-out destroyer.

It’s a Japanese-only release and super rare, but luckily those knowing heads at the terribly chi chi Oki Ni have it for sale here.

That’s me! It’s just I’m kinda bored with the whole thing now… Edits everywhere!! Some of them good, some of them wack…

No offence to Mark Seven though, Amazing DJ.
