Bill Brewster Interview (Part One)

From his punk-loving roots in Grimsby to his current position as chronicler of dance culture (alongside Frank Broughton) and DJ History supremo, Bill Brewster is leading a rich and varied life. His Lowlife parties have imbued him with a reputation as an eclectically kick-ass DJ and his writing has made him a sort of Albus Dumbledore for the acid house generation.

Bill kindly invited me up to his home, made me a cup of tea and proceeded to drop mad science on me amongst his packing boxes and house-moving debris. From his first clubbing epiphany to his plans for DJ History, it’s all here (over three parts).
