Idjut Boys Interview

I interviewed the Idjuts for the first time a year or so ago, and it was great fun. Unfortunately it was on a very lo-res format and it’s like watching an interview with two cartoon bubble men made out of Tetris blocks (or something). Anyway, My work with the AllSaints Basement Sessions has luckily allowed me to readdress the situation: here’s my Basement Session with the boys and it’s a cracker.

The Idjuts are one of those outfits that seem to remain constantly relevant; they’re always putting out dynamic, exciting sounding records and playing the kind of parties that you’d actually want to go to. Here we talk infuences, Japan and the weight of disco history (it’s heavy, if you must know). Enjoy!
