Disco Discharge Compilations Competition

It’s competition time here again at the venerable Heads Down, and this time I have an interesting series from Harmless called Disco Discharge. It’s compiled over four packages and eight CDs (it’s freekin’ massive!) comprising of Disco Fever USA (as you’d imagine), Mondo Disco, Euro Beats (some gems here amongst the predictably dodgy gear) and Cruising The Beats.

I like these comps as they’ve eschewed the obvious for some seriously underground selections, records that’d be otherwise pretty unobtainable unless you’re a Black Amex-wielding lunatic. They’re not perfect, but they’re pretty damn sweet. It features Fern Kinney’s ‘Baby Let Me Kiss You‘, which is reason enough to buy it in my opinion!

For one of you however, no purchase is necessary. I have the whole series to give away to the first person who can tell me the answer to the following: why is Comiskey Park infamous in the history of Disco? Easy peasy…
